Hummus
.
.
A very easy and tasty dip. It doesn’t sound very good and I put
off making it for quite sometime. Then one day I got brave and
gave it a whirl. I made my own variation from the original, so it is
a quick and easy last minute dish you can put together.
.
.
♦ 14 ounce can chickpeas, drained
.
♦ garlic powder (1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon)
.
♦ 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter
.
♦ 4 tablespoons of olive oil
.
♦ juice of 1 lemon
.
♦ 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
.
.
Place all of the above ingredients in a food processor
(little one works fine) and give it a few whirls until blended
and you are done.
.
Can be served with pita chips, tortilla chips, raw vegetable sticks,
toast slices or whatever you might like to try.
